Mosaic Mermaid

It's been a while since I have made any mosaics, I had forgotten how back breaking it can be, also forgot how many band aids I need!!.... Although I am also remembering how rewarding it is when it starts to come together.

I am using stained glass, her tail is iridescent so it has a rainbow sheen on it.

The sketch for this mermaid is based on one of my husbands tattoos, so she is rather special to me:)


 Cutting the mermaid out of stained glass is a tedious process

But she is worth the effort
