on my easel

A girlfriend said " are you okay", I replied "yes why?" .

"Because the canvas on your easel is blank, I've never seen a blank canvas there before" 

Well obviously that was just timing, as the canvas always starts off blank.

But yes this canvas had sat untouched for longer than usual. 

I've actually now done a lot of work on it, but mostly in a such a ghostly wash that you can't see it, I'm really going to enjoy this one.
