Sydney harbour walk

There is a walk that skirts the water from the spit bridge to Manly beach

it's a walk I've wanted to do for years and last week a friend took me there.

It didn't disappoint, truly gorgeous, but we arrived late so only walked a short while before doubling back, I can't wait to return early one day to do the full walk, armed with food, water and bikini! 

On the way back the late afternoon light gave shadows that kept me falling behind,

 I had to keep running to catch up....

...but the photos were worth it!

 

There were lots of these lizard and this last one was so cocky, he jumped onto the board walk right in front of me and showed no fear.
