Stained Glass mosaic lamp
I'm sure people think that's it's easier to mosaic with pieces of glass that look random, well it isn't!
When you have uniform pieces of glass be they square, triangle or any other shape they are easier to place together and once the glass is cut, all pieces do as they are told:)
When working with random pieces of glass (that have to be cut randomly as well) you have to scan the pile of glass before you to find the right shape and size before you try and place it. Incredibly time consuming, but the wonderful combinations you get are ultimately worth the work.
I love the effect of brightly coloured glass in mosaic that are shown up with light, this ambiance lamp reminds me of a church window.
