Wishes and Dreams

I like the idea of painting miniature paintings as they make great gifts and they are easy to send in the mail. 

But it's taken me a while to figure out just what I wanted to paint in miniature. I always feel that gifts need to be from the heart, what does the person receiving the gift really love?

Who doesn't love wishes and dreams?

So my new venture is going to be a series of miniature paintings called 'wishes and dreams'.

The wishes will be things like falling stars, candles and as below dandelions....

The dream element will be all those wonderful things in life we wish were true, or have whimsical memories of. Fireflies in the backyard, mermaids at the beach, pictures in the clouds.....
